------------------ I'd like to be an honary eastern Canadian member. We (us Cajuns) got kicked out around 1755 by the English... Nova Scotia, the Canadian province once known as Acadia, holds a special place in the hearts of many Louisiana's Cajuns. It's on a very short lists of places and things I would like to do and visit. ------------------ my wife is an acadian from the yarmouth area...her family name is surrett, no doubt there are a few of those your way. the acadians are a special bunch of people ...they speak a combination of english and french they call "frenglish" ,even i can understand some of it. a trip to the cabot trail next september is on my list...our doors are always open, drop by anytime. jim i hope to cruise up your way next summer.... i will look ya up ...thanks for the invite jim whoops- see image below!
